Elf is the greatest,Christmas season, movie ever

Maybe I’m too young to be enthralled by the classic Christmas movies like: It’s a Wonderful Life, Charlie Brown Christmas, or Christmas Vacation.  Although they are good movies, I don’t feel like pulling out my electric Christmas sweater after watching them.  For me, nothing makes it feel more like the Christmas season than watching the movie Elf.  Not black Friday, not the neighbor who puts up their Christmas lights on July 4th, and not even the amazing flavors of egg nog that Kroger comes up with every year (by the way, Kroger’s Pumpkin Egg Nog is now the 2nd reason for the season, after the birth of our Lord and Savior).  Every year Kellie and I watch the movie Elf, together.   It is such a fun movie that makes you feel like a kid again.  Good clean fun!  It seems, though, every year we’ve had to spread the viewing of this movie over more days, than the year before.   I’m probably sure that next year we’ll have to start this movie on Halloween to finish it by Christmas.  I can’t wait to let Luke and our newest baby join in on this fun tradition.   What is your family, or personal traditions, that officially make it the Christmas season for you?  Merry Christmas to you and your family.  And Remember, “Congratulations everyone, you did it!  Best cup of coffee in the world!”- Buddy the Elf
